A MATLAB-based graphical tool developed to efficiently estimate the harmonic spectrum of phase voltages in modular multilevel converters.
MMC Phase Voltage Analysis Tool is a MATLAB-based graphical user interface developed for harmonic analysis of phase voltages in Modular Multilevel Converters (MMCs). The tool is built upon an analytical harmonic model combined with explicit frequency-domain coefficient calculation and inverse Fourier reconstruction, enabling accurate evaluation of the time-domain waveform and harmonic spectrum of the MMC phase voltage.
The basic operating procedure of the developed tool is summarized as follows:
(1) Execute the main program MMC_PhaseVoltage_GUI to launch the graphical user interface.
(2) Specify the required circuit and modulation parameters through the graphical interface.
(3) Click the Run button to perform the harmonic computation, after which the corresponding MMC phase voltage waveform and harmonic spectrum are displayed.
