Remaps CData for multiple images, plotted in the current axis, to their respective individual colormaps. Multiple examples provided. The examples also demonstrate how semitransparent effects can be achieved for entire image or specific image regions.
Currently multiple subplots are not supported.

I don't know why all of us have not stumbled upon this nice tool, but it works like a charm! Highly recommended!
I also think Matlab really need to offer such type of capability. Basically, imagine how many people want to overlay an intensity map on a gray scale brain MRI!
