2D Interfering waves

This simulation shows the interference of two identical sinusoidal sources.
Finite difference method was employed to obtain this result.
Other than the edge containing the sources, all edges of the simulation box have approximate transparent boundaries.
The left panel shows the 2-D view and the right panel shows the 3-D view of the same simulation with respect to time.
