A function that places a vertical slider on the figure of your choice, and can be set to update the plot axes using the current slider position as a parameter in the function to be plotted.
This makes it quick to find a 'good' value for a particular parameter (or several parameters) by plotting the result and giving instant feedback. User functions or strings can be passed to allow the slider to control virtually anything, though it would usually only be used in updating plots.
Each slider has a variety of optional configurations. Multiple instances and spanning multiple windows is accepted (works at least for MATLAB 6).
Included in the zip-file is the function 'rtslid.m' and three demos showing you how to use the thing.
