Mapping the NCEP reanalysis data charts sequence

You create a matrix of the nice subplots of NCEP reanalysis data sequence with any step, from 6 hours up to unlimited. The ZIP file includes the function code and operational code where you define your subplot matrix (1x1, 2x3, ... , 4x5). A number of resulting plots with different subplot matrix sizes, contour densities and time steps is included as well. Prior to the use, you need to download the free m_map package (and then "addpath" to its folder) and the reanalysis data as explained in comments (both steps are very simple). You may change some visual parameters following recommendations in the comments. The example is shown for the NCEP reanalysis data of the Sea Level Presure over the Eastern Mediterranean region. Both the function and operational codes may be used with any data from any site, after proper changes s.t. grid resolution, element units, time resolution etc. R2014b and above.
