This function provides a quick and easy way to use imagesc where NaN pixels are transparent. I've also written it to change axes to normal xy axes if x and y coordinates are given. And you can enter x and y coordinates as 2D grids (just like pcolor lets you do). Otherwise it behaves exactly like imagesc.
