Apache™ Parquet is a columnar storage format available to any project in the Hadoop ecosystem, regardless of the choice of data processing framework, data model or programming language.

The MATLAB interface for Apache Parquet provides for reading and writing of Apache Parquet files from within MATLAB. Functionality includes:

* Read and write of local Parquet files
* Access to meta data of a Parquet file
* A MATLAB Datastore for reading Parquet files
