The Matlab codes presented here provide examples of 6D data visualization using the Matlab function “scatter3”.
In the first example, the X, Y and Z coordinates represent the first three dimensions (e.g., spatial coordinates), the fourth dimension is represented via animation (e.g., time), the fifth dimension is shown by color and the sixth – by the size of the scatter marker.
In the second example, the X, Y and Z coordinates represent the first three (e.g., spatial coordinates) dimensions, the fourth dimension is represented by the scatter marker color, the fifth dimension is shown by the marker size and the sixth – by the type of the marker.
