This script allows you to quickly simulate the I vs. V characteristic of a solar PV panel, from the 5-parameter single diode model.

The model is described by the following parameters:
Gp = Parallel Parasitic Conductance
Rs = Series Parasitic Resistance
n = Ideality Factor
Iph = Photo Generated Current Source
Io = Reverse Saturation Current

Feel free to play around with the controls to observe the effect of parameter change in the characteristic curve.
