IEEE Standard for Calculating the Current-Temperature Relationship of Bare Overhead Conductors (MATLAB&Simulink model)
This program can calculate current-temperature relationship of line based on IEEE std 738 ("IEEE Standard for Calculating the Current-Temperature Relationship of Bare Overhead Conductors"). Please refer to the IEEE std 738 documentation for details.
(e.g. 738-2006 - IEEE Standard for Calculating the Current-Temperature of Bare Overhead Conductors )
Features:
- Calcuration line temperature based on time varing(stady-state) condition and current.
- The condition has air temperature, wind velocity, wind direction (angle between line axis and wind direction), and solar radiation ( including changes by elapsed time utilizing datatime type variable ).
The program includes 3 types calculation model(file):
- IEEEstd738.mlx : MATLAB Function (temp erature calculation)
- IEEEstd738_sim.slx : Simulink model (Based MATLAB Function: temperature calculation)
- IEEEstd738_sim_simscape.slx : Simulink model which can model change of relationship resistance and temperature with simscape electrical (specialized power system)
"main.mlx" file can run 3 models and see formulas in the program.
