Addressing challenges involved in design and implementation of motor control algorithms
Overview
Motor Simulation and Motor Control Design have gained a lot of importance with the emergence of electrification in the industry. Motor control algorithms regulate speed, torque, and other performance characteristics, often for precision positioning. This session focuses on newer capabilities specific to the design and implementation of motor control algorithms. In this one-hour webinar, presented by MathWorks and ICAT ASPIRE, you will learn an efficient workflow for motor control algorithm development which involves:
- Building accurate motor models, electrical actuators, sensors, and loads
- Parametrizing model parameters for accuracy
- Newer ways for estimating control gains for motor control loops
- Generating ANSI, ISO, or processor-optimized C code and HDL for real-time testing and implementation
- Verifying and testing control algorithms using simulation and prototyping hardware.
