Build and Deploy Application to DDS Network

Step 5 of 5 in Create DDS Applications in Simulink

DDS Blockset enables out-of-the-box support for your previously selected vendor, eProsima. To use this out-of-the-box support, build your application model and deploy your generated executable in your development environment:

1. Ensure that your model is configured correctly. Verify that the model ports are configured and mapped appropriately for DDS.

2. Set up your build environment. Verify that a C++ compiler is appropriately set up for your platform. For eProsima, no additional setup is required (If you had selected RTI, you would need to install RTI Connext).

3. Build the Shapes Demo application model. On the DDS tab, click Build.

4. Run the generated executable.
