Is MATLAB supported on Windows 8?

I would like to know what (if any) MATLAB releases are expected to be supported on the upcoming Windows 8 OS.

MATLAB is officially supported on Windows 8 as of version R2012a, including the R2012a Student Version. Previous versions of MATLAB are not supported, but may work. We do not expect versions R2007b and prior to work.
