how to disable messages

hi,
I am running a code which uses fminsearch function.
It gives the following message;
Exiting: Maximum number of function evaluations has been exceeded - increase MaxFunEvals option. Current function value: -453.394543
is there a way to disable that please?

Set the 'Display' option 'off'.
