Grayscale video output using grayscale images

Hello, Actually, I have several grayscale images which I used to make a video using 'VideoWriter'. However, the output video is a RGB video. Do you suggest any method that allow me to directly create a grayscale video ?

When you create the VideoWriter object, specify 'VideoFormat', 'Grayscale'

I thank you for your answer, but you cannot change the 'VideoWriter' property 'VideoFormat' because it's a dynamic property.

If you can provide me another solution, I'll be really thankful to you.
