how can i proceed further to extract the eyes from images using the centroid

i am doing projects in detecting drowsiness for that i have to detect whether the eyes are open or close i use the following coding

se = strel('disk',12);bw1 = imclose(crop_aa,se);cc = bwconncomp(bw1); s = regionprops(cc,'centroid');

where crop_aa is input face image

based on the properties of image, you can find.. it varies when eyes are closed and when eyes are opened
