Error installing hardware packages

I am trying to install the simulink package for Arduino .
When I go to:
Add Ons --> Get Hardware Support Packages --> Internet
The entire list of packages is greyed out and un-clickable (I can't even scroll through the list).
When I try to download the package manually and double click to install, I get an error box saying:
"Simulink Support Package for Arduino Hardware cannot be installed on this system. It requires:
Base Product: Simulink Host Platforms: Windows (32-bit),Windows (64-bit)"
I am not running Windows at all, it is my understanding that the Arduino package should work on Mac OS X also. And even if the Arduino package is not supported, that wouldn't explain why all of the packages are unavailable to me...
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Matlab R2013a (8.1.0.604), Student version Mac OS X 10.9.1, 64-bit

Hi
I am having the same issue. Same Matlab version and OS X.
Have you had any luck on any other forums?
This is frustrating as all the research says it does work and after buying the package this does not work. I had Matlab 2009 already and would not have purchased this version if I knew it does not work with Arduino.
