Shape detection in real time video

i need to do shape detection ( square and round ) in real time video, im still stuck and can anyone suggesting me what link is the best?

You should break your problem into two separate problems. First part you need to implement a code detects the shape you want in a static image. The second part you grab frames from a video and pass it to the code that works on static image.
