Replication Photoshop's Gaussian Blur and Unsharp Mask in MATLAB

1 view (last 30 days)
Hello, Has anyone succeeded to replicate Photoshop's Gaussian Blur and Unsharp Mask function up to a rounding error?
Photoshop's Unsharp Mask is a little bit different than the the classic yet I can't reproduce it in MATLAB.
Yet I can reproduce it in Photoshop using Photoshop's Gaussian Blur as I described here: http://www.dpreview.com/forums/post/53571797
Has anyone tried? Succeeded? Was Close? Or have any remark?
Thank You.

Photoshop uses Integral Images approximation for the Gaussian Blur.
Its Unsharp Mask is once applied for "Dark Halos" and on the other for "Light Halos".
They clip the image after each operation.

I have a demo for a Difference of Gaussians filter, which of course is an unsharp masking method that uses Gaussian blur. It's attached.
