How to Calculate Shannon's Entropy Using MATLAB from Images

Hello All. I am trying to detect the Change in Urban development with the help of shannon entropy ,But before i calculate change by analysis i want to calculate Shannon's entropy. Could someone please help me on how to go ahead with this
