Is it normal the matlab exit when running a simulation?

Hi,

I've a circuit on simulink which take more than a hour to simulate. Sometimes, during this simulations, my matlab just shutdown and I can't see any results. Do anyone know why this happens and how to prevent it?!

When it crashes, does it ask you to send a crash report to the Mathworks? If so, do that and call them.

Doesn't ask anything. Just close like if someone clicked X button.

Call them. They can instruct you on steps you can take, like running process explorer or file monitor or low level software like that that watches internal calls.
