How do I implement a Zener diode in Simulink?

30 views (last 30 days)
*Hi,
I'm designing an electronic circuit model using Simulink. I need to use a Zener diode for voltage limitation purposes. Unfortunately, there's no model for the Zener in the Simulink libraries. Can someone help me with this?
Many Thanks,

You can change the properties of a ordinary diode with respect to the barrier voltage level to get the zener diode.

Exactly which properties should we change to get zener diode. Because even in simscape we don't have model for zener diode and the "power_zener" block doesn't connect to simscape components even with the ps-simulink converter

Run the 'power_zener' command by entering it in the MATLAB Command Window. You'll get an example with zener in it. Just copy paste it in your simulink model.
