What exactly is the problem? Do you really need to use the MATLAB web browser? Why not using the browser installed in the operating system? Can you open the documentation? Which OS and Matlab version are you using?

Hello,
  1. I am using plotly with MATLAB for interactive drawing, the output is a .html file. The result file can not be automatically opened by the MATLAB web browser nor the System web browser. I have to view it manually which was not convenient.
  2. The documentation can be opened normally.
  3. OS:Win10; MATLAB version:2021b.
Example:
t = linspace(0,1,1000);
plot(t, sin(2*pi*t*20), '-');
plotly_fig = fig2plotly(gcf, 'offline', true, 'filename', 'sine wave');
Warning: MATLAB was unable to launch your System web browser
Thank you!

Hi lijiong,
I understand that you are trying to use the "web()" function to access a given URL but are trying to getting an error. Can you give exact steps as we weren't able to replicate this issue on our end with the MATLAB version R2021b.
Alternatively, I can recommend you to ensure that you have System Web Browser ticked in the Preferences section.
