Making a movie and saving figures

Given an array / matrix K of size and a array / vector v of size M. I want to make a movie with N frames each one being the following plot for i in the range 1:N

plot(K(:,i),v)

I want to save this movie as a .avi file.

Moreover, for a given set of numbers I want to save the figures

plot(K(:,j),v)

for each .

What is the best way to code this up, would anything change with plots?
