Hello Farid,
Building and setting up a K-rated transformer in Simulink involves creating a model that simulates the behavior of a transformer designed to handle non-linear loads without overheating.
Since Simulink doesn't offer a direct "K-rating" parameter, you need to adjust the transformer parameters to simulate the behavior of a K-rated transformer. This involves setting the winding resistance, leakage inductance, and magnetizing inductance to values that reflect the transformer's efficiency in handling harmonic currents without overheating.
The exact values depend on the transformer's specifications and the characteristics of your non-linear load. Ensure the transformer's turns ratio is set according to your specific application needs.
Use the Simulink drawing tools to connect the Voltage Source block to one side of the Transformer block. Connect the RLC Load or your custom non-linear load model to the secondary side of the Transformer block. Ensure that all blocks are properly grounded if required and run the simulation.
I hope this helps.
