Hi. I want to investigate the changes in forces excerted on a cylinder (waves and current) with varying water dephts and sea states.
Matlab level: beginner.
Could Simulink/Simscape be used for modelling wave excitation and current flow?
Many thanks.

Absolutely. Many companies use Simscape for this purpose. As an example, WEC-Sim (Wave Energy Converter SIMulator) is an open-source wave energy converter (WEC) simulation tool that is developed by the National Renewable Energy Lab in the United States.
