I recently upgraded to R2014a from R2013b. It seems to take longer to run the same Simulink model in R2014a than R2013b. Dose anyone have a clue or same experience?

I don't run Simulink, but I wonder if you could profile the code in both versions, and try to narrow the difference.
I know one thing that definitely takes longer in 2014b: saving figures to file.

Hi William,
Could you do a tic/toc around a sim to see what the time difference is?
tic
sim('myModel')
toc
After that you might want to do an sldiagnostics call to see if the difference in time is during the model compilation or model execution phase. In particular, you will want to look at the CompileStats option.
I assume you are running the model in normal mode as well?
