Test harness option within references subsystems not visible

Hello guys,
why there is no option to build test harnesses within referenced subsystems?
In normal subsystems or referenced models it is possible.
Even when I create a referenced model within a referenced subsystem I have the option available within in the referenced model.
So why this is not possible? I don´t understand the logic behind that.
Thanks in advance.
Best regards.

Can you provide an example of your problem? I am not familiar with what a "referenced subsystem" is.
Hello Benjamin,
here is the help for referenced subsystems: Subsystem Reference - MATLAB & Simulink - MathWorks Deutschland.
Here it is called Subsystem reference. When you right click a normal subsystem in simulink you can convert it to a referenced subsystem.

Hi Youjar,
I understand that you want to create a test harness for a subsystem block while using it in a Subsystem Reference block.
Currently, the Subsystem Reference block does not support test harnesses for its contents. You may consider creating a library link using Simulink libraries for which the test harnesses can be created.
Please refer to the following documentation for more details on Linked Blocks, https://www.mathworks.com/help/simulink/ug/creating-and-working-with-linked-blocks.html.
Hope this helps!
Best Regards,
Aryan Gupta
