Hello,
I am trying to pull a few CAD models (modelled in CATIA) to Simscape for simulation. In the process, I am suggested to install SimScape Multibody Link Plugin. I have used the Mathworks web link for the same
However, Once after completing Step 4, it is supposed to show the SimMechanics Link (Add-in) in Autodesk Inventor 2022 but, it is not.
Currently I am using Matlab 2021b version (and I have downloaded the corresponded Plugin files from Step 1 of the above mentioned link).

Hi Vamsi,
As per my understanding, you are trying to setup SimScape Multibody Link Plugin link in Autodesk Inventor 2022, but the simscape link add-in does not show up.
Autodesk Inventor 2022 is not currently supported by the plugin, which is why the add-in is not visible. As a workaround, I kindly suggest using one of the previous versions of Autodesk Inventor. Versions from 2009 to 2021 are compatible with the plugin and should facilitate a smooth setup process.
Please refer to the following documentation for more information:
I hope this helps.

From my understanding, Autodesk doesn't allow you download a version earlier than 2022. Is there a way around this?

Hi I'm facing the same issue, autodesk doesn't allow to install earlier versions any more. Is there any updates soon for the plugin?
