how can i Accelerate matlab when i use matrix with large dimension ?

I used a matrix of ones and zeros with dimension (n*2^n). when n= 6. Matlab displays the results immediately but when n=20. the results began to appear after one day and continued for the second day. please, how can I solve this problem?
