3D plots and my computer's video card

Hi everyone - I've made a 3D reconstruction from an ultrasound image of the heart (attached). Now, it seems like certain parts of the image are missing in certain orientations (the cyan region in first image to the left is not visable in the MATLAB figure viewer) (*although this is not a problem when exporting the image). Is this likely to be a problem with my computer, or is it just the way MATLAB displays the information?
