In contourc function description Z input can be any of single | double | int8 | int16 | int32 | int64 | uint8 | uint16 | uint32 | uint64.
But in practice it works only for double, and return error for all others.
Example:
x = -5:0.5:5;
y = -5:0.5:5;
[Xm,Ym] = meshgrid(x,y);
Z = Xm.^2 + Ym.^2;
M = contourc(x,y,single(Z),10);

Hi Sasha,
I understand that you are trying to use the “contourc” function in MATLAB for input arguments of type “single” and facing an error.
This is a known issue and for the workaround please refer to the following article posted by the MathWorks Support Team.
I hope this information helps resolve the issue you are facing.
Best Regards,
Moksh Aggarwal
