Is Matlab compatible with the Kinect for Windows v2?

I need to make a program with the Kinect for Windows v2 and from looking at the sample code on the Mathworks website it seems like it would make my life much easier than using visual studio. However, when I try to use said code it gives me wildly different results and runs into erros. (I already installed the runtime plugin for Matlab, and have the Kinect Drivers/SDK installed).
So my question is thus, is it possible to code for the kinect v2 with Matlab? If so how do I go about getting it to work?
Thanks for all of your help!

Hi, there is possibility how to do it, however there is no official support for Kinect v2 from MatLab yet. I am in process of developing such toolbox. I will post demo soon. Check my blog .
