How to click and drag points on a map in mapping toolbox?

7 views (last 30 days)
I want to use the mapping toolbox to plot a map (zoomed to a country, region or area) where I interactively can set, drag and drop points (coordinates). The new coordinates of these points should then be saved in the corresponding / new variable. Is this feasible? If so, how?

I believe that gcpmap & inputm are 2 good candidates for your use case. There are examples in the corresponding documentation pages.

Thank you, it is a good hint. Drag and drop is not directly feasible with those commands, but I can modify the loop and re-write the variables.
If there is a hint for drag and drop, I would be grateful.
