I want to send commands from Simulink to a ready to fly drone to actuate servos

2 views (last 30 days)
I am interested in sending PWM commands from Simulink to a pixhawk through radio telemetry to actuate servos, I was hoping I would be able to do it with the radio, if not would it be possible with a USB connection to the ground control station? Or is that kind of functionality, actuation servos through simulink not available through this toolbox?
To clarify, I do not want to send commands to a simulated drone, I want to send commands to an actual ready to fly drone.
I was looking into the UAV toolbox and saw it has the functionality i want to access through the PX4 PWM output block, but i was wondering if it was possible to implment on a ready to fly drone, as opposed to a HITL simulation that all the documentation examples demonstrate the functionality in.

PX4 PWM Output bloks enable you to configure PWM outputs for servo motors and this block is not specific to HITL. You should be able to use this block with actual drone as well.
