How could I plot an isobar curve on a Mollier (T-s) diagram?

21 views (last 30 days)
Good morning, I am developing a small and simple code to calculate all the points of an aeronautic gas turbine (Joule-Brayton Cycle) apart from the cycle, on the same figure, I would like to plot also the isobar curves on my T-s diagram. How could I do?
Thanks

Hi Oscar,
I understand that you want to plot the 'isobar curves' on an existing figure of a 'T-s diagram'.
To achieve this, you can use the 'imshow' function to display your image and then utilize the 'hold on' command in MATLAB to keep the figure open. By doing so, you can overlay both the 'T-s diagram' and the 'isobar curves' using the 'scatter' function on the same figure.
Here's an example that demonstrates how to achieve this:
diag = imread("tsDiag.jpg");
imshow(im);
hold on;
x= [1: 10: 1000]
y= x;
scatter(x,y,'filled','w')
set(gca,'YDir','normal') %gca stand for get current axes
Please refer to the 'scatter' documentation for more information:
Hope this helps!
Best Regards, Aryan Gupta
