Why MATLAB still has issue dealing with accessibility API?

2 views (last 30 days)
I use MATLAB a lot and love it, especially for its versatility and capability to link all kinds of code together. Even though its performance on Mac is not as good as on Windows, I still enjoy it. But one issue that haunted on me for three years is the 'figure closing' issue: even only one app that uses accessibility API, MATLAB will freeze when closing a figure. This issue has brought to front of users since three years ago and it's still not completely fixed in the most recent build.
I totally understand how busy software developers are, and truly thank you for continuing bringing new features to this platform. But I still hope this issue can be fixed in the near future. Accessibility API exists for a reason, that is to help user to use their laptop better. Yes we can disable our window management app like Magnet or Mosaic to let MATLAB run withou issue, as MATLAB is a must but those apps are only bonus. But for people who hugely depend on apps like help hearing contents, disable the accessibility API is not practical.
Dear developers, hope you may see this thread and consider fix this issue. Thank you!
