MATLAB R2017a does not recognize a Visual Studio 2015 redistributable Compiler

Insraled below VC++ 2015 redistributable, but MATLAB did not recognize compiler.

  • Microsoft Visual C++ 2017 product family 12 (Patch required)
  • Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Professional 11
The VC++ 2015 redistributable is not enough for R2017a: you needed the Professional suite. The Community or Express editions of VC++ were not supported until VC++ 2017 (patch required)
