Navigation Toolbox using Ultrasonic Sensors

Working on a project currently with a mobile robot that utilizes ultrasonic sensors for mapping instead of LiDar. Can the Navigation Toolbox be utilized with these sensors, since both sensors work on a time of flight basis. Didn't want to get too far into the toolbox and be disappointed

Hi William,

Depending on the format of the sensor data, the ultrasonic sensors readings can be used instead of LiDar ones. I recommend looking at the Navigation Toolbox examples, particularly the Mapping examples. These should give you a better idea whether or not the toolbox features will assist you with your project.
