Transmission and Reception of Using LTE Toolbox and a Single USRP B210

14 views (last 30 days)
I’m trying to run this example on USRP B210:
In essence, I'm trying to transmit and receive an LTE eNB signal using the same B210 USRP in loopback (Tx of one channel connected to the Rx of the other through a 30 dB Atten). It's not working. Apparently, the transmission ends before the reception starts. I also tried, without success, two separate instances of Matlab, one for Tx and the other for Rx; the USRP does not respond to the second instance of the Matlab. Any help with be appreciated.

Dear Sohail,
I understand that you are facing issues with the transmission and reception of an image using the LTE Toolbox.
However, I would like to clarify that the example you were using specifically demonstrates how to use the USRP Embedded Series Radio with the LTE Toolbox. Unfortunately, the USRP B210 is not considered as a part of an Embedded Series Radio.
The documentation you referenced, which shows the transmission and reception of an image using the LTE Toolbox and a single USRP, is not available in MATLAB R2023a. However, I am providing you with an alternative documentation link that demonstrates image transmission and reception using the LTE Waveform and Software Defined Radio (SDR) specifically with the Pluto Radio. Please refer:
Furthermore, you can refer to the below documentation for the Common Problems and Fixes in USRP Embedded Series Radios:
I hope this helps!

Thanks a lot, Pooja. I worked out a solution for this problem using two SDRs.

Hey Sohail, I seem to be having issues with using this with B210 as this example supports only embedded series. Could you help me how did you get along with it?
