Is there a keyboard shortcut for inserting a LaTex equation after writing it?

12 views (last 30 days)
Hello,
When writing an equation in the Live Editor I use the ctrl+shift+L shortcut to insert a LaTex equation. The cursor is then in the equation code field and I am able to keep my hands on the keyboard. When I am done writing the equation and I want to insert it, the only option I see is to hit the "ok" button with my mouse. Is there a keyboard shortcut equivalent for this? I've tried enter which gives a new line and ctrl+enter which does nothing.
Thanks!

There may not be a direct keyboard shortcut, but there is a workaround. Hit tab a couple of times to cycle down to "OK", the press enter on keyboard.

Hi Ricardo,
I understand that you were looking for a shortcut to insert a LaTex equation after writing an equation in the text field.
As of R2022b, there is no such shortcut to insert the equation in a Live Script other than clicking on the "OK" option.
I hope this helps.
