Discrete message transmission using USRP, support by communication toolbox

Do the current version of USRP support by communication toolbox allows transmission and recption of discrete message signal?

Sir I have a USRP 2901, and I have to do work on " https://in.mathworks.com/help/wlan/ug/detect-human-presence-using-wlan-signals-and-deep-learning.html " on matlab by using USRP. Code is given in this link, I installed packages as well those required after that what we have to do. Please explain me in sequence how to do? Because sir I am from CSE background, I did coding properly but sir unable to undersatnd the things how work with USRP on matlab.
after Installed packages, I easily configure the device is successfully connected. After that what we should do please explain, it will be great help for me.

Yes, the current version of the USRP (Universal Software Radio Peripheral) hardware and the Communications Toolbox in MATLAB support the transmission and reception of discrete message signals.
With the USRP support package for the Communications Toolbox, one can:
  • Configure and control USRP radios from within MATLAB
  • Transmit and receive baseband signals, including discrete message signals, using USRP radios
  • Implement custom communication algorithms in MATLAB and deploy them to USRP hardware for real-time testing and prototyping.
Please refer to the following documentation link for further guidance:
