PCB Antenna Designer & memory consumption based on dielectric materials

4 views (last 30 days)
Dear All,
I'm trying to simulate a pcb antenna but when I change the dielectric material from Air to any other, the needed memory increase from 770MB to 15GB. Any workaround to improve it?

Hi A_G,
As per my understanding, you want to know, how to reduce the memory size after changing the dielectric material.
Based on how many elements are included in the mesh that is used for the analysis, the simulation's expected memory utilisation is determined. The mesh settings can be modified in the "Analysis Settings" section of the toolstrip, under the "ANALYSIS" tab. By adjusting the Min/Max "Edge Length" and "Growth Rate" parameters, you can change the mesh by setting the meshing mode to be "manual".
After modifying these settings, select the "Mesh" button on the toolstrip to reload the mesh, and then click "Memory Estimate" once more to get an updated memory estimate.
For more information ,you can go through mesh
