Why the diacritic characters are displayed incorrectly?

Recently I had to replace the system disk and reinstall all the programs, including MATLAB. Previously, I used Windows 10. Currently I'm also running Windows 10. Lastly, I used MATLAB 2022b. Now, I installed the latest version of MATLAB. To my surprise, Polish diacritics are displayed incorrectly in the mlx files, in text and in comments as well. When I correct them maually, they ared displayed correvtly. MOreover, I have checked the same files in MATLAB Online and the diacritics are displayed correctly again.

Below, I have attached screen shots ilustrating the problem. I have now idea what could be wrong. Thanks everybody in advance for help.

There was another problemwith the diacritics. In the off-line editor I can't see most of the content of one of the files, in which I manually corrected most of the diacritics. At the same time, in the MATLA Online service the entire content of the file is available. When I corecetd a few left diacritics, saved and downloaded the file, I do not see the full content again. See the screen shots below (please note the scroll bar on the right).

The problem was resolved by manually updating Windows.
