MATLAB runs really slow and stop working constantly on Apple M1

I need to fix my problem with this program. I barely can work in my computer due to the performance of MATLAB. Always get freeze whatever I'm doing (create a new script, open a buit-in app, using EEGLAB, etc) and it works slow, like always having lag.

I need to fix it. Do you know how?

My computer is a Macbook Air M1, 16gb RAM, 8 cores GPU. I got the problem even with the computer just formatted and with versions 2023a and 2022a
