Matlab update to 1.4.2.1?

In the Add-On-Manager, there is an update available for Matlab 1.4.2.1. My current version is 9.14.0.2337262 (R2023a) Update 5. For fun, I clicked on the "Update" button and I received an "Update Error" dialog which said "Unable to install update. Try again later."
Why does this update even appear?
How may I disable or delete it?
Thanks!
David

That is not an update to Matlab itself (which Mathworks will always write all caps). What you see is an update to a File Exchange entry with the name 'matlab' (very poorly chosen if you ask me). Apparently the name only changed with the last update, since on the discussion page you can find screenshots with the name 'Digilient Toolbox'.
This is the entry. You should look into their release notes to see how important this update is to see whether or not you want to ignore it.

Yes, they did :) Much better.
I do appreciate all the help.
