How do I fix the Simulink StartPage error?

When I open matlab R2023a in Windows 11 and click on the simulink tab. I recieve these errors.
Warning: Unable to resolve the name 'sltemplate.internal.Registrar.warmupCache'.
Error in sltemplate.ui.StartPage
Error in sltemplate.ui.StartPage
Error in sltemplate.ui.StartPage/instance
Error in sltemplate.ui.StartPage/getInstance
Error in sltemplate.ui.StartPage/doShow
Error in sltemplate.ui.StartPage.showCustomView
Error in sltemplate.ui.StartPage>@()sltemplate.ui.StartPage.showCustomView('Start',[],varargin{:})
Error in sltemplate.ui.StartPage/showWithFallback
Error in sltemplate.ui.StartPage.show

Execution of script get_param as a function is not supported:
C:\Program Files\MATLAB\R2023a\toolbox\simulink\core\api\get_param.m

I have tried gving system access to the program and installing additional Simulink packages. What Am I doing wrong?

Hi Devon,
I understand that you are trying to open simulink and you are facing the above error.
The default paths of MATLAB may not be configured properly on your workstation. ITo reset them, please proceed with the following steps:
In MATLAB, type the commands to restore the application path:
>> rehash toolboxcache
>> restoredefaultpath
>> matlabrc
>> savepath
"restoredefaultpath" path will reset paths for all toolboxes/addons. Therefore, if a third party toolbox is installed which doesn't come from MathWorks, you will have to reinstall that toolbox.
