Assistance Needed with Sensorless Control for PMSM using TI Components

Dear Mathworks Support,
I am currently attempting to implement sensorless control for a PMSM using TI components. Despite diligently following all provided instructions, I am encountering an issue where there are no voltages present in the output. The specific modules I am using are F28069M and DRV8305.
I would greatly appreciate your assistance in resolving this matter. Could you please provide guidance or support to help me successfully run sensorless control for my setup?

Hi @Vahid,
I understand that you followed all the steps to implement sensorless control for a PMSM using TI Components (F28069M and DRV8305), but you are unable to obtain voltages at the output.
Here are few basic steps which might help you troubleshoot the setup:
  1. Check Power Supply and Connections/Wiring
  2. Verify Motor Driver Configuration: gate drive signals from the F28069M to the DRV8305 are being generated correctly, settings on the DRV8305 are correct for the motor
  3. Inspect Microcontroller Setup: firmware, clocks and timer configurations, GPIO pin configuration
  4. Check Sensorless Algorithm Implementation: proper initialization and appropriate gains for observer convergence
