Convert polar to cartisian coordinate

1- To convert polar to cartisian coordinates, I use "Pol2Car(R,theta). Unlike any other matlab statment, I am surprised to note that the command works correctly only if the angle is in degrees rather than radians . It gives wrong answer if I use the angle in radians.
2 -The revers command Cart2Pol, output the angle in radians.
3- I checked the help and documintations of matlab 6.5, matlab 2010, and matlab 2015 for help on Pol2Car but couldn't find any.

pol2cart uses radians.
There is no Mathworks supplied Pol2Car function.
