- ReInstallation: If previous attempts to install MATLAB were unsuccessful, check that the folder you are trying to reinstall to is empty. installing to an empty folder allows for a full reinstallation of MATLAB and all its toolboxes. This process deletes any of these products currently installed.
- Check Your Internet Connection: Ensure your internet connection is stable and active. Try accessing other websites or services to confirm your internet is working correctly.
- Disable Firewall and Antivirus Software Temporarily: Sometimes, firewall or antivirus software can interfere with the installation process by blocking the installer’s access to the internet. Try temporarily disabling these programs and then rerun the installer. Remember to enable your firewall and antivirus protection after the installation.
- Run the Installer as Administrator: Right-click on the MATLAB installer and select "Run as administrator." This ensures the installer has the necessary permissions to make changes to your system and access the internet if needed.
- Use a Wired Connection: If you're using Wi-Fi, try switching to a wired Ethernet connection if possible. This can provide a more stable and reliable internet connection.
- Try a Different Network: Sometimes, network restrictions, especially in corporate or academic environments, can block the installer’s access to the MATLAB servers. If possible, try using a different network to see if the issue persists.
- Download the Full Installer: If you're using the web installer, consider downloading the full installer package from the MathWorks website instead. This requires a larger initial download but can be more reliable as it doesn’t need to download files during the installation.
- When you reach the page for selecting additional toolboxes during the installation, it's best to stick with the default options and only install MATLAB itself initially. This approach often ensures a successful installation. Should you require any additional toolboxes later on, you can always install them manually after the initial setup is complete.
I have trouble in installing matlab, at the final step. The detail is in the picture. But there is no problem with my network connection in fact.
